Shark rigs
I really have never fished for sharks but I am going to give it a whirl and had a couple of questions. I have 10ft surf rods, Are these big enough? Also what pound test should I have? Does anyone have any pics of shark rigs that I could take a look at? What kind of sinkers and how heavy? Any information will be greaty appreciated.

A 10' pole is fine. You can put a conventional or spinning rod on it. A lot of us use heavy boat stuff and take the bait out with a kayak.
This is well covered in numerous threads in this part of the forum. Scroll through, you'll see pics of rigs, methods, etc. It's all here, no need for me to duplicate the info...... Learn and ENJOY!!
