That's true a friend of mine was in his stand on morning after we were out drinking all night puking his guts out when a deer walked right up under his stand. He said he would have shot it but did not want to hear the gun go off, so he let that one go and nailed one later that day. Some people live by scent covers and camo and others say you just have to be the right place at the right time. Good luck with the rest of the session.

Default Very good Day

Last day of the Pa. rifle season. By 9:00AM my boss and I had taken 5 deer. I harvested a 8pt buck and 2 doe and my partner took 2 doe. This was a great finish for the end of the season.

Nice shooting fellas. I saw 1 deer in the woods this whole hunting season. It wasnt for lack of time spent, just not enough deer anymore. I used to see herds of 10-20 deer. Now they come one at a time, if ever. Too much of a development boom(everybody wants to move to the woods, then cut down all of the trees) loss of habitat, and the 2 week doe season, are really reducing the numbers IMO. Sucks too, cuz I love deer meat. But it keeps the auto insurance buisness happy.
