I'm not sure of the details, and I'm sure there is a good reason for him to be in the courtroom BUT a courtroom is not a place for a judge to preach her agenda, and not to use her position to prove how power hungry she is when she disagrees because a spectator in the courtroom doesn't want to listen to her on the soapbox. No judge allows grandstanding by the attorneys in a court case, why is what she was doing any different. I can understand lecturing a defendant on what he did wrong, but to start lecturing her PETA type pholosophies should not be tolerated, and IMHO the guy that walked out did the correct thing. There's actually a website set up to get her out of her seat.... www.firejudgelewis.com I think they actually have a really good beef, not to mention there are allegations of her reducing a sex offender's sentence by 10 YEARS after an ex parte (one sided) meeting with the defense.
