Default Crappie

On 02/24/08 Michael Gauruder of Baltimore MD caught a Crappie in the big pond at OP 13 3/4" 1.66lbs on a copper mepps. Just shy of citation. We are still keeping live minnows in stock.

Thanks
Shanan

Smile crappie in Pocomoke

Moores pond in Pocomoke has been producing nice catches of crappie on trolled shad darts with small minnows. I have been averaging 10 to 15 fish each trip.

Fished the upper wicomico river in salisbury today and caught a mixed bag of crappie, bluegill, bass, white perch, and herring. Was using 1/64 oz. green and chartruese shad darts fished just above the bottom slowly.

Default march 14, 2008

Went back to Moore's pond in Pocomoke and fishe using 1/64 oz shad darts and minnows and caught 50+ crappie in the 12 - 14 inch range. As soon as I can figure out how to transfer the pics from my cell phone to this site I will add them. I have a pic of crappie two deep across the entire tailgate of my F150 pickup. I also fished the pond in Millsboro, De. in my posting today and caught several pickerel up to 24".
