Default Frederick Co. pond

Hello everyone.
I'm new here, name is Mike. I hope I'm posting in the right place!
Just wanted to share a pic of the biggest bass I've ever caught.

Sun. 6/24/07 @ 2 acre farm pond in Braddock Heights, Frederick Co. Maryland.
Caught on 5 inch Yamamoto senco in black/blue at around 1:00 pm.
10 pound Berkley XL in green w/ Owner 4/0 offset wide gap hook.

Large mouth weighed 9 pound 8 ounce and measured 25 inches in length and 18 inches in girth.

Nice fish. PM me if you want an awesome mount. Buddy of mine does all my work and he does one awesome bass along with whitetails but lives in Odenton MD so may be a drive for you. Just freeze her whole with good wrap.

I'll keep that in mind for the next big one, thanks for the info! I already sent this one off to a local guy, (Hagerstown).

Could you give me some tips on freezing fish prior to being sent to a taxidermist? I have questions like, how long can you keep it in the freezer and what is the best material to wrap it with? Is there a thread here that discuses this?

Thanks everyone for the replies!
