ok, now to the fishing report

Between the 4 of us (me leading the pack 110%) about 150-200 fish were caught on Sat. The Smallies preferred the Deeper pools with Large Rocks or trees in the water. Several 1-2lb fish were caught on 5' Ultralites pulling 2" Berkley Power Bait Grubs, Pumpkin or Pumpkin w/chartreuse tail. These were so effective we renamed it Fish Crack after about 20 min of fishing with them. Once set up in camp we broke out the Topwater for some sunset fun and caught a bunch more. While we sat around a campfire we threw lighted bobbers in the water with hot dog and just slayed the Catfish......The water was low, but it was still manageable.....a couple good chutes to run the canoes down. No one dumped thier canoe, although James did take on about 10 Gal of water at one point on Sat.......Weather was absolutely beautiful.....not too hot and once the sun went down it actually got chilly. Made for a perfect night in a tent......Hmmmmm, what else.....oh, woke up yesterday morning to a guy and his two kids wading down the river taking smallies with a fly......
