Hey, thanks Nancy. Hey after watching that great video you said first fish should count for something and as it ended up it did. Congrats. At least you had something to say in front of the camera. When Carrie came down to our neck of the woods and tried to interview me I froze up like a June bug in January. I was on a mission to see if my 10in floats could catch a striper cause bait on the bottom was good for maybe 2.4 nanoseconds. There just were not enough fish around to know if floats worked but it only took 10in suspended to get away from the crabs.
Hardcore weekend I am still trying to get back to normal not that I ever was normal.

Nancy, what you did through the tourney was fantastic. I feel terrible that I have not had the honor (yet) to fish with you. You stayed out there in the cold, baiting, casting, reeling and waiting, and waiting, and waiting.

Your catch was fantastic and don't ever think it wasn't good enough.
I'd put you up against the best, and you were, and you beat most of them!!!

Cheers to ya!

Great fish Dan. My son, Zech, told me that my fish was bigger than our grandson, Max. Looking at your fish with (is that your son in the photo) it puts that comment into perspective. Those sharks the guys were pulling in this summer were longer than they are tall. Zech asked me last night if the excitement level was the same - landing a huge fish - compared to landing the freshwater fish. I told him that each type of fishing has its own type of excitement. But looking at your fish and Dave's 49" fish - and then thinking about the fact these fish are bigger than our children and grandchildren - I'd have to say that I won't be able to answer that question until I actually try to pull one of those monsters in!!!!

Anyway - congratulations on your win!!!
