Head Count for our First Annual Assateauge Fall Striper Tournament
Okay, lets start this list. Permit is complete and we are ready to rock and roll on Nov 18th - 19th. Get your gear ready, warm clothes, food, firewood, radio, plenty of bait and lots of cold/warm beverages and fine fellowship.
I am really looking forward to seeing you all again. Unfortunately for me, I will not be able to fish this tournament, but this will give me lots of time to make rounds and visit with everyone, which I like to do anyway. It's going to be a shorter tournament from Sat. 5am - Sun. 3pm, but still plenty of time to land that MONSTER Striper. We have received a bunch of entries, but we need a few more to make the full 50 participants and give a great payout. So, lets make it happen, help support the site and make some CASH! Just an update on the free T-shirt giveaway... What was I thinking?! It is going to be in NOVEMBER! So, I have changed the giveaway to a free hat. They are going to be khaki hats with a small logo (which I will design). This way I don't have to take size orders and all that garbage.

I'm having tire and truck camper problems and will have to camp at the National Park in our trailer.......
Can I climb the dune from the Oceanside CG and fish there?.....may seem like a strange question but I'd like to be a part of the tourney and the buggy issues won't be solved until Spring...... Dennis

I will get there friday night and fish hard until sunday when it is time to do the party thing. I will probably get no sleep fishing the way I do but that's what work is for on monday, right?

Hey Phil! Talk about a trooper. This guy can fish non-stop for days with no food or water (maybe a little scotch here and there).

Sam,
I hope to be down in a couple of weeks to get an early start. Can't wait for the tournament!!! They are a very good idea for people to meet up.Thanks for all the extra work that goes into these events.

You guys can count me in.....the wife and I made arrangements today to leave town a little early that Friday....
I'm figuring on romping the truck out there with the family at times, I just won't go out real far (the present tires suck).....then when they're tired I'll drop em back at the trailer and if the OSV area is full upon my return I'll drag the gear out by hand...... We'll be leaving Jersey around 330pm that Friday.....that will put me in the area about 9-930pm......any bait shops open at that hour that time a year?....naturally I'd prefer to support Harbor being their involment with the tourney.....

this sounds like a real good one to enter...hope I can work out my schedule...if we have clear skies, there will be a nice meteor shower going off that night.
