Was wondering if it is still on given the impending weather (Fri and sat 25-30 knot winds, 11-13 ft seas, etc)

grass last year,,,now, wind and a very fast running beach.

Ya I was out in it last year that grass was a mess to deal with and now this year rain and wind not going to be fun.

I haven't heard that it is cancelled but if that tide comes up with the winds and rain I wouldn't be surprised... be no beach to fish on! I saw there was a coastal flood warning on too!
