Harbor Tackle Fishing Report November 18. 2007

Last Wednesday a 28 inch red drum was taken from the AI surf. A 36 inch striper was brought by my store on Sunday. The fish was just a little over 12 pounds. A few legal stripers are starting to show up in the surf at Assateague. There are small blues, skates and sharks in the suds. A 39 inch striper was taken off the beach in mid-town Ocean City. Tog are hitting good at 2nd & 4th Streets, the Coast Guard Station and off the Rt. 50 Bridge. Most people are catching their limit. The inlet is producing stripers. Pat Connolly from Ocean Pines came by Saturday evening with 2 stripers, sized 36 and 33 inches that he caught in the Inlet. Rumor has it that specked trout have been in the area for a few weeks. Stripers and shad are making a showing at the Rt. 50 Bridge.
