4-26-07 Harbor Tackle Fishing Report
Harbor Tackle’s Fishing Report, April 26, 2007
Have not had much to report up till now. Don’t get me wrong fishing is still slow, but a few fish have shown up. In the surf there are skates, and dog fish. Heard of a few good bites but they broke off. Most people are fishing with fresh bunker and chowder clams. Rt. 50 Bridge has produced a few legal stripers. Sunday evening a 37 incher was taken. Wednesday night a couple of legal stripers and a 22 inch flounder. Last Thursday a few legal flounder were caught using live minnows. The water temp was 47 degrees. Flounder fishing has picked up by the Rt. 90 Bridge and the Thorofare. Minnows and squid are the baits of choice. Mike Smith took a 20 ½ inch 3.11 lbs from the Thorofare using a squid and minnow combo. Harbor Tackle will have plenty of fresh bunker and chowder clams for the weekend.
Harbor Tackle has fresh bunker, live chowder clams, live eels, live minnows, live, green crabs, and live black saltys.
