Default Marathon - Capt Pip's

At the south end of Marathon, just before the wooded areas you'll find Capt Pip's snuggled in on the right. It's just after the camper storage lot.
Pip's has a limited number of rooms but they are all pretty nice. There is only one really small room, they rest are quite ample, enough for four adults.
Nice upholstery, clean and well kept. Every room has a small dining area on the back side that overlooks the HUGE patio. Each room (except one) has a full fridge, stove and cooking supplies. Queen-sized bed and a pull-out living room sofa round it out. Oh yeah, two TVs!

Out back, there are a couple of hammocks, cooking grills, propane and charcoal provided. Tiki torches and ample comfy chairs with the string lights make this area nice to unwind after a full day of fishing!

Oh, did I mention fishing????
Yep, that's right, fishing.
Located right on the water with a dock.
Did I mention that each room comes with it's own boat?
A small 20 foot center console with a live well awaits you.
Before you launch, take a few minutes to toss in some fishbites or corn on a long shank #12 hook with little or no weight. The Pinfish will tear up anything you throw in.
Put all the Pinfish in the live well and you are ready for Cuda, Charkey, Grouper, etc. They love Pins!
An extra treat are the pair of Tarpon that come through the little cove at the dock each morning and evening. These aren't little guys either, they are at least five feet long!

Pip's also has a charter right there, they'll take you out to the weed line for some great fishing!
The reef is 15 minutes away, great for snorkeling and fishing. Make sure you DO NOT have ANY fish on board if you tie up at Sombrero Reef, it's a protected area.
A little closer in, just outside the 7 Mile Bridge you'll find a nice channel with 35 feet of water. It'd between the 2nd and 3rd light poles on the bridge.
This is one of my favorite places for old Charkey.

Here's the link:
Have fun, I sure do, every fall!
