Rao's
East Harlem'a best of the best homestyle Italian food. When I go to New York there are four places in the city that I like to eat...Rao's is one of them but getting in is tough if not impossible. 212-722-6709 and hopefully Nicky the Vest will hear your plea. (He's the bartender so tip well for his help)
There are eight or so tables and its Monday through Friday. Wear your best threads and take a cab. Rao's has some big boys keeping tabs on the street but venture off the street and your on your own. Rao's is the best Italian Food hands down but the exclusivity of Rao's makes it next to impossible. Bring cash 'cause plastic is just that.
