Our kids walking along the rocks looking for sticks to burn on our camp fire found this skull......I think its a turtle head. Anybody know?

it really looks too small to tell what it is.

Where was it found?
Is it all solid bone?
It looks too large to be a head.
Possible a shoulder of another animal?
To the right "appears" to be the top, with the left tapering down to an extremity attachment.
Maybe a pic of the long side and the left looking in.
But heck, far as I know it could be the butt-side of a Bumblebee...

gull...I found plenty of those down here...I even have a turtle skull that I found ...theres no mistaking

It's bone...at least I think it is. I think its too big for a bird head. I looked at some turtle skulls on line and not sure it is a turtle now. I'll take a few more pics at different angles and post em later.

A couple of years ago someone posted a pic of a odd looking fish. Took us months to figure out what it was.
