Default 2007 goals, how'd ya do

These were mine from another thread...man was I ambitious but also didn't know we were going to have a baby.

Fishing Goals for 2007
40+inch fresh water Striper (yak) only ever caught dinks - Nope
50+inch Chessy Striper (yak) - Nope
40lb Beach Striper - Yep a couple
45+ Chessy Drum (yak) Nope, bad idea anyway
50+inch Beach Drum - close
15 or more Drum for 2007 - 4 all in March
Get my wife to reel in a 40+lb fish - not possible
Don't fish solo so much - did a real good job of this, only a few nights solo thanks to folks on this board.

I'll start a new one for 2008, should be more realistic this time, I like that 15 drum one though.

I did well on my goals for 2007. They where pretty easy fish a lot and learn all the basics!

Maybe in 2009 i'll have fish goals! but 2008 is just to master the basic's now that I got a good foundation (thanks to this board!)

dont remember what mine were but here are my accomplishments for the year.

9 citation Drum (1 in the spring and 8 in the fall with 4 in one day)
citation Amberjack (50" released)
citation Cobia (46 lbs.)
citation Blue Marlin (released, est. 225 lbs.)

did quite a bit of exploring and fishing in the sound with my kayak and found some AWESOME holes some of which produced lots of fish and some of which that I didn't get an opportunity to fish. I know there are some more but I can't remember.

Had a decent Spring with Trout, and Nice Taylor Blues. Summer wasn't that bad, but my Fall has been a disaster.

Never could catch a break with wind and tides for Drum and didn't even sniff a Bull. Plenty of Pups!

Probably my best year ever for Flounder even though only a few were keepers.

Now here I am with a few days off, ready to fish and it's raining and blowing SW 20+. Can't fish from the beach or boat right now !
