no worse than the Gorge in WV or the upper Yach in Pa...... I'll take the surf over a class V rapid any day of the week. We flipped our raft one summer on the Yach and it was a class V, I don't think I have ever been so scared in my life. My feet kept getting snagged, kept getting banged on rocks, sucked under, then thrown over a waterfall(bout 12 feet high). Talk about un nerving... but we went back the next day and hit it perfect was quite a trip...

Oliver i got an idea on where that is, sounds like up north, i have been on the yach , scarry indeed, I would try the raft on AI just not so loaded down, maybe one other person. Definately without the kids.
