Default Rod and Reel Matchup Question

How do you think a TICA Taurus TP4000S would fit on the Lami XS81MS and used solely as a plugging stick (bombers, poppers, 1/2oz bucktails)?

I like the weight of the Tica reel (~14oz), plus the suggested line weight fits right in with what the lami is rated.

I'm just wondering which reel specifically to get. How does the line retrieve per crank affect plugging? I am assuming since I would be casting and reeling alot, I would want a faster line retrieve? Tica makes a TP4000SH which is over 40" per crank, the TP4000S is around 31" (big difference)?? Too unnatural? Thanks.

Steve

I like reels with faster retrieve, you can slow it down by slowing your cranking but when you want to burn a lure in it will come in handy. Just my opinion.
