Hey guys, Long time no talk, check this out!!!!
Well just read what I posted on another forum:
__________________________________________________ _______________ Well guys, last saturday I fished my State Qualifying Tournament on the Potomac river. This tournament takes the best Junior anglers from the state and puts them against each other for a one- day tournament. At the end of the day, I had the best bag........but then a kid wieghed in 30 minutes late and beat my weight. They still gave the kid the win, and I got the 2nd place trophy. Now, the main prize for this tournament is a bid to the 2007 Junior World Championship in Birmingham, Alabama on Lake Logan Martin. After requesting the official rules from ESPN, a committee of MD Bass federation members made the ruling. Due to rule #19 in the JWC rules "under no circumstance can an angler qualify if they wieghed in more than 15 minutes late to the State Qualifying Tournament" i was able to then qualify for the JWC in Alabama!!!!!!!! I am extremely excited for this oppertunity, and hope that I will get to see some of the fellow junior anglers on the boards!! thanks guys...i cant wait to get back there and have a go at a toothy beast.......maybe i could even go for a differnt species if i get down at another time!
