Let me say that I've never tried to post anything that was too out of line as far as porno or anything else that would offend anyone . If you guys are so uptight about a little humor than ban me from the site. I've posted numerous times about my availability to take others on my boat fishing , have responded to folks looking to hook up etc. As you have asked me to do , I've decided to "Keep it clean" , but you guys are the most boring bunch of surf fishing only guys I've ever met . I understand your wants and needs for this site to be "Family Friendly" and respect that , but to erase some of my posts that had genuine impact, I find akin to the same attitude that the major networks had to various TV shows in the 70's . At least let some of our "off-color humor" be posted in a separate forum , one that is only accessable to members of this board that have access . I am by no means a muckraker . I've got years of experience fishing both the inshore and offshore waters of OC and am willing to share vast knowledge of both . After reading most of the posts on this board , it is obvious to *link removed* me that most of you are both just new surf fishermen , or tyros looking for information about "how tos" and such . Please don't take this personally as I have a great respect for anyone that lives to fish . Thanks , seabass

Look, I'm probably one of the most foul people on here and no one would ever know it...show some discretion. It's really not too much to ask. If I'm at work sneaking a peak at a fishing site I should not have to worry about what someone looking over my shoulder may see. If I had kids I'd have to watch what I looked at in my own home. I don't think the stuff you are posting is too bad, but you are the only one doing it right? This is a clean site, so fall in line...its really not that difficult.

I think you have something to bring to the table especially since none of us know what we are doing. Try doing that instead, unless you can't reach the keys from your high horse.

i can post pics with the best of em, but as has been stated, its the intent to keep the site family friendly.
would you want a 3year old looking at some of the pics posted? some people may view the site with thier children to show them pics of fish people caught

no one is questioning your ability to fish or give good advice, it's just the fact that this is a "Family site" and woman and childeren read this stuff, so we like to try and keep it clean and fishing related.
I don't know if I'm speaking for the masses or not but as Ben stated, I too look at this site from work and could get in a lot of trouble (even lose my job) if caught looking at unapproate stuff.

I'm with Chomper here. Sam is the man and if he doesn't want it then it goes. Plenty of other sites where the off color stuff can be posted.


I do have some friends on other sites that have had work issues when they clicked on something that big brother doesn't approve of.

Dude, you're a jackass. You post this and then go and try and push Sam's buttons with posts like the above?

How old are you? 15? If you don't like the rules of this site, then don't come here. There's about a dozen other Delmarva peninsula fishing boards that'd be happy to have you. I, like Randy and others, frequent this site almost exclusively from work and REALLY don't need the hassle that would be created if my boss happened to look over my shoulder while wading past one of your inane and assinine posts.

This site stays more 'on topic' than 99% of the other sites out there, offers a wealth of information to anyone looking for it, and has some of the nicest and most knowlegable fisherman I've ever met. Why do you feel the need to come on here and instigate?
