Thumbs up Coop & Oliver

You know something... I have to give it to Scott. The last two times I have fished with him, he has stayed out WAY longer than he should have. He leaves the beach around midnight, goes home, cleans up and probably doesn't get to bed until after 1am. Then, he has to get up at 4am to get ready for work. I would be a zombie and no good to anyone for at least 12 hours.

Props to Scott for the hardest fishing guy I have ever met.

Now, Oliver is a close second. I have seen this dude come home from a CRAZY night of silliness and hit the beach with me for hours in the afternoon. He totally skipped his nap (much needed, i assure you) and weathered the beach breeze. Granted, he didn't do too much fishin, but still...
He had a tough night last night beginning with getting stuck while trying to be a good Samaritan. Then I pulled him out and ragged on him constantly. I couldn't help it. He calls me on my cell phone and was like, "Sam, tell Scott to get his truck down here to pull me out!" I figured the old jeep could handle it, so I went down there and helped out. Then the best got ahold of me and I had to rub it in for a while. Poor guy, brought me a sub and some great fresh bait.

Then as he was leaving, he walked right into the tail hitch at the rear of his truck in the dark and moved his truck at least 6 inches to the left! As Scott and I ran over to hear what all the screaming was about, Scott's reel starts singing and Oliver is left with a broken leg, a bee sting on his foot from earlier, a lost fish from before, getting stuck in the sand and then me teasing him all night about it. Oh, and I forgot about the jellyfish going down the back of his pants on his first trip out...

With all that, he still left smiling. Oliver is a pleasure to meet and a good friend to have.

Cool

Thanks Sam..... I am honored to know you and Scott, and all the others I have met from here. If the rest of the world had half the class and personality that the folks here have, we wouldn't have half the problems we do.

Coop has been here since the beginning.
Him having 1000 posts isn't a big deal, unless you consider the content of the posts. Anyone can post all over the place to run the numbers up without saying anything.

Why only 1000 posts for someone here that long? Quality takes time. The thing about his posts are that every one of them are well thought out, researched, informative and very pleasurable to read. There are no "filler" posts from that guy.
As always Scott, your posts are what it's all about.....
Kudos to you!
