Default Skull & Cross Bones

I see a lot of anglers out on Assatgue flying the flag of the pirates. What does this mean?

Johnny Depp fans....

It's just a "thing". I've seen it on a few boats on the CB too.
A buddy of mine simply said he liked it, no other reason.

I've been stuck in the pirate thing since my early days in the CG
squids(us navy) out of Norfolk use to call us "Puddle Pirates" becaused of our patrol area. which was mostly off the North Carolina Seacoast but what they didn't know was ,were were FISHING and NOT chasing druggies

I got one to fly on the yak in the bay. I didn't want to fly striper flags (if I didn't have any on board) and I needed to be seen. It also keeps the trollers away lest they be plundered.

NG Channel had a nice 2 hr show about Teach (Blackbeard). I really liked it. There is another show coming on, something like "The Real Pirates of the Carribbean".
His ship, the bigger one, what was it? The Queen Mary's Revenge or summin like it? Supposed to be wrecked in Ocracoke??

JMO, and I'm probably gonna get flamed for this, but I think if you fly the jolly roger off your boat, the only kind of pirate you are is a ....pirate.....
