Inshore, during late Spring, Jack Crevalle and Ladyfish begin crashing Mullet and Glass Minnow pods up and down the lush grass Flats of the Mosquito Lagoon and canals of the Indian River Lagoon and Banana River making for spectacular inshore sport fishing near Orlando Florida.


Signifying the approach of Summer, Snook begin to arrive and can be found busting bait early in the morning near Mangroves, in canals, around docks. The best Snook fishing can be found at nearby inlets of the Indian River Lagoon and Banana River.


Through the Summer and into the Fall season, Tarpon can be found offshore running the Beach off Cape Canaveral as well as inshore, rolling in the residential canals of Cocoa Beach and Merritt Island in the Indian and Banana River and at times, Tarpon Fishing can be had in the deeper water flats of the North Indian River Lagoon and Mosquito Lagoon area.
