Ok, I will be in Winter Park (FL)around the 17th 18th 19th and 20th of April and I want to fish! I am taking my surf rods with me for the trip.
So where should I go and what should I be fishing for? Thanks!

On the north end of New Smyrna Beach you will find Smyrna Dunes Park. It is run by the county. You can fish the beach or inlet, it's all right there. Here is a link to the park's page:
http://volusia.org/parks/smyrnadunes.htm You may find the usual suspects like Whiting, Pomp, Sheepshead, possibly Snook and definitely some Chark and Rays. Just pack the normal stuff from size 4 for Whiting, Pomp and Sheep to Chark size.. Whatever you use up here, use there. If you are driving, might want to take a cast net for bait. You'll see the Mullett swimming with their heads out of the water. Live-line and cut chunks work best. If you want slow water (not ocean), Mosquito lagoon or anywhere along Haulover Canal on Merritt Island for Reds. No surf poles there, use maybe 8' max. If you want to yak fish, Catch Mike at adayawaykayaktours.com, you haul the yak for $40 per day.
