Default Saltist 30H

The reel is very smooth and extremely quiet. There is no clicking sound when reeling.
Having the Gear Box moved foreword makes all the difference in the world. Fits my hand like a glove.
Out of the box I'd have to say it's a little slow.
Thinner oil and a lot of tweaking produced some good results but not great.
I will say that the spool and shaft is designed similar to the slosh. The Saltist does not have the free spool feature the SHV and SHA's have. I'm not sure if this make a difference or not. I'm thinking it needs to be broken in some.
I had it on a Ballistic today on the field.
I out casted it with a SHV30/1509 Allstar and a SHA30/TICA Dolphin by 15-20 yards. The difference in distance might not be much but for an average caster like myself, it could mean catch or not to catch.

Yeah I had to use the FORCE. That black and gold 10 footer was killing me.
