In case no one else has seen this, There is a show from the North American Fishing Club on Versus. ( Thanks Randy) Anyhow, they have a segment on knots and each week they compare 2 different style knots for strength - Knot Wars. It is an excellent presentation, everybody here would benefit from seeing it -IMO. Their graphic computer animation is flipping amazing. You can also check it out at fishingclub.com, under Knot Wars. You can catch up on all 4 episodes to this point.

I see that the show runs several times a week. Anyone know which one is the first run of the airing?
DirecTV doesn't list what is on each show.

Looking through VS, I tagged many shows for recording, all kinds of fishing shows. There are a number of them that are really duds though. Some don't educate you at all. Just a couple of guys laughing it up and oogling over little fish.

I'm working through them, so far, Saltwater Experience seems to be the best, by far. Will report back after watching others....

Oh, they have past shows (for 2007) on their web site, pretty cool stuff! Charkin', another Grouper, Reds, etc. All of it in the Keys.

Since I got DirectTV, Im blown-away at the # of Fishing shows on Versus, Outdoor, Fox Sports and ESPN2
how many you ask how about over 30 fishing showsand most are from the salt I sure hope when fishin' season rolls around..... I can get off the couch

oh and guys, Keep watching the Suffix Saltwater Experience
that show is now the #1 rated fishing show on Versus on Saturday morning and Versus has been So Happy wth Tom & Rich, that they have brought back one of there older fishing shows called "Chasing Silver" which airs directly after Saltwater Experience ....oh and lastly, I do know that Captian Tom Rowland reads AtlanticAngler.com

Knot Wars pitted the Figure 8 knot against the Improved Clincher knot. When that first aired , I do not know. If you go to their website, they have all of the episodes there to watch.
