Default Shakespeare #1788 Reel...Value?

Going thru my late father's belongings, I found a Shakespeare #1788 reel, brand new, still in the original box. It was made in 1968, according to Shakespeare's web site. It has never been used, and has an extra spool & the original paperwork still with it. Any idea what this reel is worth?

110 reads, and no one has any idea what this thing is worth? It has to be worth something, based on it being in mint condition alone.

Doesn't look like it's worth much. Thanks for the help.

It belonged to your Dad so it's worth something!
Put some new line on it and take it to the local pond or lake and play with it. Got any young 'uns that you want to teach?
Ya never know, it might still have your Pop's good Ju-Ju on it!
