Default Best Life Jacket?

What's the best life jacket for the money out there?
I'm looking at a Stearns angler vest model.
Any opinions?

What will it be used for?
The more specific info, the better answers.

The only one I have is for yakking in the surf. Couple of pockets and is visible. Good full padding for the tosses into the sand.

Well, since I swim like a rock, I'd like to have one to wear when I go out on the bay, yet be comfortable enough for bank fishing too.
I'm looking at an angler's vest model from Stearns that looks like it will fit the bill.

Default Comfort is the key

We bought several sospenders that are comfortable. They are there if you need them. They inflate when you fall in the water, or you can pull the rip cord to inflate them. The best pfd is the one that you will wear.
