Question Shimano Baitrunner Reel Maintenance Help

Not sure if this thread belongs here, so if the mods need to move it, please feel free . . .

I just finished fishing AI this weekend and breaking in my new Baitrunner (lots of snapper blues, skate, dogfish, and 1 croaker ). I want to keep the reel working as good as it does now for as long as I can. The manual says to spray the reel with a light mist of warm water which I can figure out. It then says to dry it, again, simple enough. The part I am confused is that it says to use a water displacing lubricant on the reel but does not specify where to apply.

Does anyone have info on 1) what type of lube to use for this project and 2) exactly where on the reel I should apply? I know from reading in the manual it also says to be careful where you apply lube or grease as it can get inside the reel and mess up some of the functions. The manual is not very clear or I just overlooked something.

Man, that's nuts. Way too many small parts for me. I'll just take mine to the shop to get done.
