Default opening 16/0 circles??

i just got a bunch of 16/0 mustad circle hooks. I need ot make my shark rigs quick, we are departing tomorrow for the beach!!!

These hooks seem small, and have a really small gap. DO you guys open up your 16/0 circles? or will ones that are not "opened" still work with a big toothy critter???

BEN

I just opened some, and i think I did it right....they arent as round as they used to be, but the gap from point to shank is about 1/4 to 1/2 inch bigger?

yeah, if you ever wanna do some freshwater fishing, i'd love to meet up with you randy!

you can also off set the gap by bending the point to one way or the other alittle helps on getting bait on too.
