Lynnhaven Kayak Launch?

Plan to be in Lynnhaven looking at a possible boat purchase Tue-Wed.
Where would be a good (productive) spot to launch kayaks?

Also, I have heard there is a good place that has "the best" crab cakes somewhere around Laskin Road, I think.
Anyone know?

You can launch right there at Lynnhaven at the Boat Ramp (Crab Creek). Go back up inside all the marsh/grass beds and have at it with some flounder and pups!!

Live bait or Strike King Z-2 for Pups?
What about for the flatties?

1) Gulp! Alive Swimming Mullet 4" (Pearl or Chartreuese) on red 1/4oz jig head.
2) Get yourself a few dozen live gudgeons and drift them with a small egg sinker.
3) Cast new some small finger mullet or spot and drift.

That's about all I ever use back in there! Great for just about everything in there!

Plan to get in town about 2pm.
Can't check in until 4pm, so might as well toss the yaks in.
Staying at the West Bestern (LOL) 1330 E. Ovean View Av.
Reckon we'll be eating at Lynnhaven Fish House, then will need a few good microbrews.

Wed morning will be looking at the boat(s), then prolly open for a bit more fishin, depending on the time.
