Rolled into one of my better spots in the area at the Naval Base.. arrived to target some flounder....after my weekend in Hatteras and my pretty successful flounder hunting in OI I figured I'd run after for some flounder this week. Stop off at my fav little tackle store Crab Creek and shot the breeze with the waiter behind the counter....got some bait and off I go. Got there and immediately saw TONS of mullet swimming around...threw the net and picked a few nice fat healty mullet...rigged the ole carolina rig and tossed mullet bellies out for about 4 hours..... in total caught 20 Pups. All were tagged and released. biggest being a nice fat 29 that had 7 spots. and smallest being a little 12 incher....Also picked out a big blue....actually did a little tail walking arcross the water...and no steve it was not in the corner...
