VBAC Surf Tourney

Sad News...guess they could not secure the event at Dam Neck (U.S. Navy Base), like in years past. Too bad it was a great tourney!

Here's the e-mail I received today:

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the surf tournament will not be held this year. The security at the base is insufficient to have civilian functions the magnitude of our surf tournament. Thank you for your past participation and for the inquiries we have had to date. We look forward to next year in hopes of using the base or an alternative location.

sorry to hear about the event i fished the event last year and loved every minute of it. to those looking for an alterative i would like to send out an invite to all anglers to attend the 2007 amsa surf tournamemt..ours will be held october 18,19,20 2007 on assateague island
