A day on the Loc

1. Launching off
2.under the dulaney valley bridge
3. just a nother under bridge shot
4. First lil bass of the day
5. second and last bass of the day ...just for the record I lost 2 at boatside ...lol
6.You have to catch a pick when fishing the Loc...it's just one of those things
7.This was a surprise... I was cranking in the right area but just couldn't the big one to bite
8. There were a small club hosting a team torney...the winning bag was 20.84 lbs for 8 fish these guys took home $1700 ....biggest fish 5.99lbs this guy got a check for $400 they also took 6th place for $100

Hey Dre'

Im going out on the loch this friday and was looking for some tips. I have fished here 2 times this summer so far and havent hooked a thing... Ive used nightcrawlers to try and get some perch or crappie and havent been successful. Ive also used senkos, crawdads, crankbaits and spinnerbaits and nothing. Im not really sure where to go as i rent a boat and do not have a depth finder. Could you please give me any kind of tips?

Throw your senko in the grass on points..there's crappies between the red and white bouys in front of the boathouse drift between the two and go deep

I went out last friday and nothing again... I headed up to the warren bridge with a chart. and white spinner bait.. nothing.

When drifting for the crappies, do i use nightcrawler on a top and bottom rig? How much weight? Speed for the small trolling motor? Any other tips?

I would put 2 large splitshots 12" above a crappie jig and slooow drift from one bouy to the other [depending on the wind direction]....you might want to turn your motor on 1 no more than 3 ...I would start at the red bouy and work my way to the white.... make multiple passes
