Skinny water should make it easier to target the gray suits...
Hey Steve yea just tossing. Bunker chunks, but I throw a pretty big chunk during sharkin' season. I usually get only a head and maybe 3 chunks out of a good sized bunker. Smaller bunker is just a head and two chunks.
Tide was low and incoming. Two and three hours before high. I wish I could have stayed for the outgoing. We have had some very good results during the outgoing tide.
Good catches Phil! Those are 99.9% Dusky sharks

Hey All, spend Friday Afternoon, and all day Saturday, and Sunday morning.
1 skate, 3 flounder, 2 blues... Tough fishing for me this weekend.
Nice catches to Phil & Sam !
Phil - were you at the walkover by the circle ?
While were on the subject of sharkin i got a quick question. I plan on going sharkin tonight with my brother and was curious of the best bait to use and how big the pieces should be. I've got plenty of duskies/sandbars(not sure) last year around this time, on mullet. If you guys could give me any advice i would appreciate it.
Bunker and Skate are fine, the largest piece you can fling. Butterfly it for better scent disbursement.
Nice butterfly
think i seen you land it, I was just north of ya, actually you had parked right in my hole that i had been fishin for a few days now, lol, glad you got into something, would have come over and said hi or helped you land it but I had two surf fishing newbies with me and I could not get away. I went out mon tue and wens, nothing monday skate on tue and wensday had two roughtail rays all on outgoing, skeeters were bad all three days and the flies were horrible on monday. got chased out by the storm last night.
