The surf temps should be nice out there, with the sand being a bit warmer.


Head on out, play in the water and toss in some bait.

We couldn't buy a kingfish on Saturday.

Fished the bay behind OC over the week end. We managed 3 keeper flounder,lots of shorties, a 18" blue and of course a assortment of junk fish. Had a great time can't wait to get back.

We fished twice during last week. One skate to show for it. Only had out shark baits, water is way too cold it seems to me.

Guys where are the shark reports? They should be chewing up the beach -late July. Water cold I guess?? Global cooling or what. Sure be hot here in Cincy. Sucks to be here but got to pay the bills though. Missing the smell of brine bigtime.

Hey Dave last week the water felt like early June to me. I sure hope it warms up because I am gonna be back this weekend for another go.....

Two weeks ago it was 67 degrees surf temp with air temp of 72. This ain't right, I think it's that dadburn global cooling thingey again... Nah, what is it? Heat melts the iceberg, it cools the water and chases all the Charks down to Raziff.
Looking at Rutgers, temps indicated are about 71.
