Beach Fishing: Surf Fishing Nov. 8th Delaware

I am going to be surf fishing on Nov 8th around the Cape Henlopen area. Does anybody have any suggestions for where to go and what to use?

Welcome to the forums Wilson!
Some of the locals will steer you toward a few areas. As for what to use; chunks or Bunker heads on 8/0 with a 50# shock leader. Chuck it out in the trough and sit back. Still lots of Blues and some Skates and Dogfish around. The Stripers should be here any day.

Is there anything happening on the delaware bay beaches (slaughter, broadkill)? Honestly we are just trying to catch fish. The guys I am taking don't fish the surf alot and if it is slow they will probably get bored. Thanks alot for the advice

You should be able to get into some striper and bluefish action!
