I fished the inlet today with an old friend of mine who's new to SW fishing. We netted up about four dozen mullet along the S. Jetty and began to drift. We ended up catching seven flounder with two keepers and five or six blues up to 22". My friend got his first ever keeper flounder with a 21" fish. He missed quite a few also by not letting the fish take the bait, and not slamming home the hookset. It was a beautiful day with a light wind out of the east. I'm hitting Ocean City midweek to try my luck down there. I hope I can get some live mullet.
