Default Seems like the fish are back

It seems the fish have come back, after about a week. There was bluefish caught up and down the state park today. It seems at least one sandbar was caught by everyone..

Also where were they being caught? Sandbars are great sharks to target and a lot of fun.

Shark...the sandbars were small, all about 3 feet or so. Looking forward to catching some bigger ones. Snagged six bunker and kept 4 snapper blues for bait for later on in the week.

How you ever gotten any sandbars from 3R's? I have fished the rock side of IRI and caught nice sized doggies but have yet to target these larger sharks. I am hoping to get down there this coming weekend, after the 4th and do some serious surf fishing. I am hoping to avoid a four or more hour trip to AI for these sharks.
