Beach Fishing Two fined for fishing violations at Cape Henlopen

Delaware Fish and Wildlife Enforcements Agents have announced the arrests of two Pennsylvania defendants who trespassed onto a Cape Henlopen fishing pier and kept undersized fish.

Agents arrested Tan Van Nguyen and Lieu Tran, both of Philadelphia, at about 12:30 a.m., Sunday at the pier.

Agents found 10 undersized rockfish and four undersized flounder in the defendants' possession. They were also charged with trespassing by park rangers. The two were processed at the enforcement office in Georgetown and at Justice of the Peace Court 3.

They pleaded guilty to all charges and were fined $1,956 before being released.

The sad thing is you don't hear about more arrest and we all know that it happens every day on every pier and bridge in our area.

Most likely they did not have a license and should have had all there gear taken from them.
