Our first trip was on Saturday and like others said, it was not that great a bite. More like not good. It was rough and windy.....never listen to the weather man. We threw the anchor 5 times and could not stay over the wrecks. Wound up with only 2 keepers tog and someone that wanted to keep a couple of smooth dog sharks.
Capt. Mike Rivera, of On Delivery, went out and came back early to the dock. He reported it was to rough for his group and they didn't have any fish. Capt. John Nedelka wound up catching some tog....imagine that...even though it was rough. We are scheduled to run this week-end. Fri is still open, Sat is sold out a few more spots available on Sun. Full Day 7am-3pm, $70 per person, bait included Rod rental $7 I have heard of some black sea bass being picked at, maybe that will pick up quick with the limits on tog dropping soon.
