As I stated in an eariler posting, I will be glad to make a "form" letter that can printed as is, then the sender fill in personal information or downloaded and cusotmized as the sender sees fit. BUT understand, at this time the ONLY beach the letters are aimed to address is Cape Hatteras National Seashore NOT Assateague Island. That time has not come yet. At some point during the GMP update process, which doesn't begin until next year, I will make available all necessary information and recommendations necessary for you to send in your input to the NPS. We are no where close to that time. I do not suggest any actions be taken regarding Assateague at this time.

Default doorman

I read eariler where we should not ask for anything more, just hold on to what we have now. I think that is wrong. The NPS letter says they want to "Ensure fees are comparable with similar services and markets." What are they comparing them to? Hatteras allows any vehicle , reguardless of weight and amount of wheels on the beach. Cape Cod also has no dual wheel restrictions, although they are a bit more expensive.
Pay more? I don't like it but will do it if it makes us "comparable".

You don't argue to keep what you have, especially in the face of increased fees.
You argue for more.
Sure, bring AI in line with other areas.
No fancy fee structure, one straight price.
No restriction on dualies.

That way, if push comes to shove, you keep what you have.

I'll pay none the less, I can understand the need for a price increase, just hope they dont run away with it like the oil market has.
