Caught a Cobia 53" 51 3/4lbs 28" Girth
Caught on Fresh Bunker in the Assateague Surf

Thats the guy that was fishing a couple 100 yds away,,,thought he had a ray on at first,,,nice catch!

He was using fresh bunker. What a surprise that must have been. It takes a skilled angler to wrestle one of those in. Especially when you're not trying to catch one! That guy is either very lucky or a good fisherman. :wink:

Cobia are wonderful table fare.

They are cought all the time on jigs in the panhandle of florida.

I have never cought one but I am hopefull

Congrats on the cobia. There seem to have been a few get lost over the last couple of years. One of the best tasting fish in the ocean.
