Thanks guys, To put things in perspective I fished 21 hrs after that fish and never got another hit. We post all these fish and people think we slay them but you sure have to pay your dues cause they are far and few between. Wished I had gotten a girth but she was an easy 50 lber. After measuring Garys I would say mine was probably about a 29in girth which puts her about 52 to 53 lbs by the math. I knew it was close to the record at that POINT in time but it was too close for me to kill her. You gain some real respect for these monsters and when you think of the gauntlet they had to run to get that big it just feels too good to watch her swim away. I will keep the 30s for eating.
