AI trophy weekend. Monster stripers. I caught a 45in and a 51in both released Friday 7pm and 11pm. The 51 was a monster with huge body and no doubt over 50lb. Glad I released her because if it was a new record it would have only been one for 2 hours as 8nbait caight the new SR at 57.4 at 1 am Sat. What a weekend. 3 - 50lb+ stripers and many in 40s.
My 51 was my personal biggest ever. Wished I got a girth but what a horse. I was too worried about the release and a pic so details slipped my mind.

congrats on the huge striped one. to bad the record fish was caught this week because that picture would have made the coastal fisherman cover if not.
