OC inlet Sat night from 8:00 to 11:00 with nothing to show for it. Lots of people fishing and only saw one shad caught.
Headed over to
AI at 11:00 and fished all night until 2:00pm the next afternoon. Ocean was as flat as can be, not a wave in sight, not even the shore break. Not good for stripers :( It was a great night out except for an hour or so when the wind shifted and it got cold quick.
A couple of doggies, some skate and a couple of small sand bar sharks. Tried for kings,flounder with no takers.
Heard of some sand tigers being caught at night.
