Headed out yesterday, and got a Surf Fishing personal best.
41" about 25lbs. at the top of the tide, nearly to the minute.
Lots of cloud cover early, never really turned into rain. Around 2am the moon came all the way out from the clouds, and lit up the surf, which was dead calm.
Then I watched, as my fishing partner for the night, landed about 80-90 lbs pounds worth of striped bass. In the full moon, with a light westerly breeze.
Definitely the type of night that makes all this years skunks worth it.
