RECREATIONAL SECTOR:
Measures for conservation:
- A prohibition on female harvest (exception for soft crabs).
- A catch limit of 5-6 dozen crabs for licensed crabbers. The catch limit for the boat would be 10-12 dozen with 2 or more licensees on board..
Measures to alleviate user conflict:
- Make the end time consistent for Bay and tributaries: Sunset.
- Increase time difference between recreational and commercial trotliners (FROM 1/2 hour to 1 hour).
