Harbor Tackle Fishing Report August 31, 2007

Lots of blues are being caught in the surf the last couple of days, a few nice flounder, big sharks, and croakers too. After catching bluefish the blues were used as bait for catching flounder. I was told that been at least 3 red drum have been caught at AI, but was asked not to tell yet. Since someone has let the cat or drum out of the bag, I feel that I have kept my secret long enough and now I am passing on my info. Ron Howe of Ocean Pines caught a 2.45 lb flounder at Assateague on Thursday, He was using live minnows for bait. My bait sources for fresh bunker and fresh spot are available to me daily.
