I am a softshell fanatic... and I can tell you, if you want a good softshell make a trip to the eastern shore late spring. I usually buy them when we stay at Cherrystone campground.... that little restuarant sells the meal for the market price of the crab, and they're always huge and fresh.
Locally i'd suggest Sullivans Wharf @ Rosemont Rd. and Virginia Beach Blvd... try there crab cakes too, jumbo lump everytime. (a little on the pricey side) or Harpoon Larrys... just make sure you get them in season.. |
