you can use it as is if you want. Ticas are notoriously wide on their spacing, my guess is even moreso with the spinners which is a big problem when fighting a fish. Under load the line will actually transition underneath of the blank in some cases. Spinning guides generally sit much higher on the blank as well when you reverse it. Best bet is to re-wrap with new guides obviously. Once I broke my 1502 I fished a OM spinning heaver as conventional the rest of the trip. I'm now converting that one to conv and the Tica to spinning. You can pick up a reel and give it a go for a while and then swap it out later, the feel of the blank won't be that different, just less efficient.

Hell I'm switching a TICA conv to a spinner, want to trade?
